The History

The brothers attribute their success and accomplishments to the undying support of family and friends, however more specifically, their parents Frank & Mary. They dedicate the opening of their new store in honour of both of them and forever thank them for teaching their three sons to always remain humble and treat everyone like family that walk through the doors of La Casa Dolce.

the beginning

La Casa Dolce began operations in March 2006 with David and Andrew’s passion for baking and Steve’s passion for business. For the first two years of operations the brothers were just making a few cakes for friends and family in the 700 square foot basement of their parent’s home. However as their cakes increased in popularity, so did the volume of orders. In March 2008 La Casa Dolce became an official registered partnership and continued to attract new clients from different regions of the GTA with their unique and creative “one of a kind” cakes.

three years later

After more than three years, the brother’s dream of one day owning and operating their own custom cake shop had come true as they finalized plans to begin managing their own retail store. On October 14th 2009 La Casa Dolce Custom Cakes & Pastries was officially open for business at 732 Browns Line in Etobicoke. By 2012 the brothers and their slowly growing team/family started to out grow their small 3 floor 1,800 square foot store and made the decision to begin searching for a larger space where they could expand and grow their business into the future.

December 12, 2012

On December 12th 2012, 6 years after their first cake was made from the basement of their parents home, the brothers and their La Casa Dolce family opened a brand new 5,000 square foot facility at 755 Queensway Street East in Mississauga.

Today, La Casa Dolce is a full scale bakery, cafe, and custom cake shop. We have a large seating area where you can enjoy our specialty beverages and hot table lunches as well as a variety of cakes and desserts which are made and served on a daily basis.
